Student Events

School of Engineering and Technology organized Scribbling day on 8th April 2017. All the students of final year wrote on each others T-Shirts. Faculty members also blessed them for future. The entire cafeteria was filled with cheerful smiles.

 

 

A workshop on “Ethical Hacking” was held by School of Engineering and Technology on 30th-31st March 2017 in D-421. There was an overwhelming response from students, and a total of 93 students registered for it. It was held by Kyrion Technologies in collaboration with Chakravyuh IIT Delhi and all the students have received the certificate for the same. It was a well attended and intensive workshop from 10:00am-4:00pm for two days

 

 

Mr. Pankaj Mathur, Vice President of Orange business Services delivered a lecture for our Engineering students  in School of Engineering and Technology. Dean SET, Dr. Atul Kumar felicitated the guest with warm welcome before Mr. Pankaj Mathur delivered a very informative, thought provoking talk for the budding Engineers. Students were enthralled and were inquisitive. Few of them had personal interaction with Mr. Pankaj Mathur.

 

 

 

Ansal University Innovation Centre and School of Engineering & Technology organized the “Engineering Projects Exhibition – 2016″ on 14th April 2016.

It was a great success. In all, 20 different teams (17 External + 3 In House) from various colleges/universities of NCR participated in it.

The exhibition was assessed and evaluated by Dr Amit Kumar Garg (Prof, DCRUST Murthal) in a very patient and diligent way.

Finally the team of Amity University, Gurgaon grabbed the “Best Project Award” along with the cash prize of Rs 10,000 /.

 

School of Engineering & Technology organized a Talk on “Social Sensing” by Dr. Nishanth Sastry, Department of Informatics, Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at Kings College, London on October 27, 2015.

 

 

 

 

Day-1

School of Engineering and Technology organized a Workshop on “STAAD PRO” on September 22, 2015. The workshop was open exclusively to BTech-Civil students.

The Workshop was conducted by MultiSoft Systems which is a leading provider of certification programs and design solutions for global enterprises. Looking at the keenness of the students, the intention of the School is to conduct a 40 hour extensive training program for BTech Civil 3rd and 4th year students.

Day-2

A Workshop on “SolidWorks” was organized by School of Engineering and Technology on September 23, 2015. The workshop was open exclusively to BTech-Mechanical students.

The Workshop was conducted by a leading certification program provider company. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Vikash Kumar who is an IIM-Lucknow alumni.

 

School of Engineering and Technology, Ansal University organized a Workshop on “Data Analytics-Hadoop, Map Reduce, Pig and Hive” on September 8, 2015. The Workshop was conducted by a leading US based company- OfssaM Technologies.

 

 

School of Engineering and Technology organized a workshop on MATLAB on September 1, 2015 for the students.

The workshop was conducted by an expert from CETPA InfoTech Pvt. Ltd.; an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company which deals in the fields of Software Development, Embedded Products Development, Placement Consultancy and Engineers Training Programs.

The two hour long session helped students understand MATLAB as a high-performance language for technical computing.

 

Our alumni of 2014 batch ,Mr. Satyam Gupta, Mr. Lokesh Arora and Mr. Vaibhav Gupta, have started a Company called 7 Hexagon Tech Labs Pvt. Ltd.

They conducted one day workshop on Android Applications to B.Tech CSE , BCA and MCA students of Ansal University. There was an overwhelming response from students. This workshop gave an overview of the Android platform to the students.

The trainers also proposed to give three internships on Android Application to deserving students in their company.

Co curricular Activity Team organized the “Poster making Competition” in Nov , 2014. S.E.T Students participated wholeheartedly and enjoyed the process. There were total five entries and the winners were Students of B.Tech. 2nd Year CSE.
