School of Law has successfully conducted its first Short Credit Course on ‘International Human Rights Law Practices’. The basic idea behind the introduction of these short credit courses is to equip the students with additional knowledge and practical skills beyond the usual syllabus based approach. This time, the course was offered by a distinguished human rights practitioner Mr. Ravi Nair. Mr. Nair is currently working as an Executive Director of South Asia Human Rights Documentation Centre (SAHRDC). He has been associated with UGC and various NLUs in developing the human rights syllabus. He has also delivered the Edward A. Smith Lecture at the Harvard Law School in 2005. The Course was attended by 47 students.
