Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has shortlisted Ansal University, Gurgaon as a Partner for conducting its Certificate Programme in CSR (ICP-CSR), a 9 month programme for developing trained and certified CSR professionals in the country. The ICP-CSR is not just another course that has floated itself in the market. It is a focused and cogent response to the need of the hour for qualified professionals to handle the biggest challenge of the corporate world today- responsible citizenship through social engagement. The Course comes at an opportune time. Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013 is a landmark legislation on CSR for our country, and this requires a more proactive role of India Inc. to contribute to community development and environmental conservation. This Course aims at developing professionals geared to take on a critical role in taking CSR forward.
The course includes a 14 weeks of online/non-contact study, 4 weeks contact classes with an online exam on weekend, 12 weeks of project work with NGO / Trust etc and a 3 weeks of corporate attachment facilitated by IICA.
The minimum qualification for this course is graduation with atleast 50% marks.
